Well, here we are, now as a WordPress self-hosted site. Wow! Can you believe it? Do you know what that means? After 10 years of blogging, I finally have chosen to take ownership of my blog. Wow! That took way too long!
Do you have any idea of why I did not own my blog prior to now? Maybe you have an idea, and maybe it is right, however, I don’t think I ever mentioned to you why I had my site at Blogger for so long. Sure, blogger is easy, but the real reason is that it is super easy to to be anonymous. And prior to now, I felt as though I needed to be anonymous.
You may notice that there has been, or will shortly be, a small change in my name. Yes, I have decided to completely own this blogging thing that I have done for so long. Though I have not done it as of writing this post, I do believe that I will begin finally, to blog under my real name. My previous name, Nadine Spirit really has held no true meaning for me. I chose it because it was nowhere near my previous legal name.
It served it’s purpose. It helped me while it could. Now, I no longer feel as though it is needed.
So, uh, yeah. There ya go! Hi!
