For the last 30 years today was a day of harsh reality, but now it is not that any longer and that is a lovely thing. The new school year has started back up and I am not a part of that. Which is sad, but amazingly awesomely fabulous! I am so excited about what the future is going to bring for my wife and I. We have no idea what that is going to be, but it is going to be interesting to figure that out.
It has been so long since I have been at such a spot in my life with so much opportunity spread out before me. There are so many directions I can go that for now, I’m just sort of sitting with that and letting it percolate. I don’t really want to run out into any direction, other that my public speaking. I know that there is going to be something else, I’m just not sure what or where that is. And that is okay! I finally just get to sit with it, and that’s all. And that is wonderful!
I have talked to my therapist quite a bit about what this will mean for me and what I am going to have to do in order for this to actually work. If I stress out about what is coming next, then that will ultimately influence what does come next. If all that I do is stress then I will not be able to accomplish much of anything. The key here is going to be to relax and go with the flow.
Jodie has become very good in just going with the flow of things. It seems that she continues to be teaching me. I’ve looked up to her my entire life. I’m lucky to have her in my life.
Love you!
